What a great way to start off the New Year. With a Family Portrait.
That’s exactly what Taylor and her family did for 2012. And we could not have asked for a more perfect day in the desert. The sun was shining and the temperature was rather pleasant. After a few images around the Christmas Tree, we piled into our vehicles and headed South to the Black Rock Campground which is part of the Joshua Tree National Park.
Black Rock was a popular spot on New Year’s Day, as the parking lot was full. If I wasn’t out there photographing a family, I would have been out hiking and photographing the gorgeous landscape.
But my camera was focused on capturing the ever gorgeous Allan family. Even captured a few of Taylor by herself as a belated Portraits of Love Gift for her hubby, who is currently deployed overseas.
