Snow! Oh how I would love to see snow falling from the skies right about now. Or to be sitting on top of a hill in the photograph above. This photograph was taken march of 2006 in Joshua Tree National Park. If you would like to purchase this print, just click on it to be taken to my Cafe Press Store.
For the last few days, temperatures have been well past the 100 mark. When it’s this hot outside, you really don’t feel like doing anything outside. Or at least not until it cools off. The only chore I have enjoyed outside the last few days has been watering my plants. And even they are feeling the affects of the summer heat has evidenced by the blooming cacti flower I photographed yesterday.
I wish I had a side by side comparison series of photographs to show how much bigger the blooms were just a few months ago during the spring time here in the desert. With the mild desert temperatures, my cacti were blooming like crazy which made for some beautiful macro photography.
