Getting caught up on my art journaling. This week’s theme was star struck. I couldn’t help but think of some of my favorite images that would be perfect for this art journaling page.
I love night photography. I love that I live next door to Joshua Tree National Park, which has little light pollution. Which is perfect for star gazing and other planetary events, like the Blood Moon of last week.
I really need to get out into the park more at night so I can do what I love. I’m actually waiting for a clear moonless night because I so want to create an epic Milky Way over Joshua Tree image. I’ve seen so many amazing images of the milky way in my newsfeed over the years but have never attempted to photograph this amazing site.
Until now. There’s a moonless night not too far off in the horizon so I’m making plans now to go camp out in the park. And the weather is perfect right now at night. Not too cold and definitely cooler than the warm spring days.
