As beautiful as Sedona is, I was just really disappointed with the most of the images I captured with my DSLR.  Just wasn’t feeling the colors in my images that I saw with my eyes.  So I decided to take a break from my photo editing and turn my energy towards my art journaling.

I was working on Week 6 which was about commitment.  I’ve put something down on digital paper but I’m just not happy with it.  Yet.

So I loved on to Week 7. Vital.  And our inspirational artist this week was Paul Klee.  To be honest, I had never heard of him until this week.  At first I used one of his paintings as inspiration to recreate an image of JTNP I had in my mind.  But I just wasn’t feeling it.  So I went to bed last night after erasing everything I had worked on.

This morning I woke up feeling refreshed so I took to my digital canvas again.  I was getting into my groove.  But my computer had other plans for me and decided to reboot all on its own and I lost about an hours worth of work.

So frustrating when technology fails me!

But I was determined to complete this project and not get further behind in my art journaling.  Cranked up the music and went back at it.  And I love the final result.

AJC14- Week 7 - Vital

I feel so energized just looking at this creation.  So colorful and so full of life.  A perfect artistic interpretation of vital if you ask me.

Now that I am feeling energized perhaps I will revisit week 6 and see where this new found creativity will take me.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend…

xoxo, Patricia
