After posting my Picture of the Day earlier and reading a few blogs I subscribe to, I got to thinking about the world around me. One of the Blogs I was reading reflected on “What Makes My Day” and what came to mind was how I enjoy the simple beauty I see all around me everyday, like the heart shaped cactus in my Picture of the Day. And then another Blog from a few weeks ago came to mind. It was about “Being a Green Photographer.” Many moments of reflection followed.
I want to preserve the world around me for others to enjoy for years to come. How can I achieve this goal, I thought. One is to implement some of the suggestion in John Huegel’s blog on “Being a Green Photographer”. Another way is to continue taking pictures to help others see the simple beauty that surrounds us everyday and those pictures that show the wasteful side as well.
