Tuesday night I was ll excited about the peaking of the Perseids Meteor Shower.  Gathered my camera gear and headed into Joshua Tree National Park and away from the light pollution.  Only to discover another type of pollution hanging around overhead.  Clouds.  Yes the clouds starting drifting overhead as the shower was supposed to reach its peak, at least according the guys over at Meteor Blog.

I still had fun listening to the couples I joined and taking some photographs.  I had so hoped I created some interesting night photography shots but they did not turn out as well I had hoped.  I shot them in RAW format, so sometime this weekend, I will have to sit down and try my hand at Adobe Lightroom.

Since I have no photographs of the sky from this week, I found this image from last month that I decided to share on this Sky Wtch Friday.

So now that you have viewed my Sky Watch photograph, I invite you to click on over to the home of Sky Watch Friday and check out the other amazing photographs submitted by many talented photographers. AG00090_
