We have an abundance of Peanut Butter in our pantry. 10 tubs to be exact. 5 large ones and 5 small ones. Now the bigger ones I purchased from Costco. And of course, not everyone likes crunchy PB so in order to keep a happy household, I have creamy too.
Early this week after playing around in the pool with my son, I decided to satisfy my sweet tooth with some cookie baking. I found a recipe for Peanut Butter Chocolate Kisses but the only kisses in this household are the ones that come from my lips. Smack!
What’s a Mom to do?
Substitute with what’s on hand. Which happened to be a big bag of Peanut M&M’s (also from Costco).
And what did my family think of this batch of cookies?
Well , considering I made them about 48hours ago, the cookie jar is almost empty. And with a mouthful, my daughter told me these were some of the best cookies I’ve made.
