Yesterday was amazing. Out of nowhere pops a desert monsoon. The Morongo Valley doesn’t usually see these type of storms until July usually. I love these storms! My kids think I’m a freak because I will go out in justabout any kind of weather with camera in hand. Guess I should have been a storm chaser. Note to self for second life.
So here I am out in my yard before it starts raining when out of the corner of my eye I see a flash of lightning, and then one of the largest booms of thunder I have ever heard in my life. This storm was right over my head. I could feel the ground shaking. Practically scared the crap out of me. I loved it!
