As I am prepping for my first art show, I decided to jump into the world of Periscope with my first broadcast on framing.
To say I was nervous was an understatement!
So nervous apparently that I forgot to put the hashtag in the title so that I could katch it. Lesson learned. Well here is the link to the Periscope broadcast that Twitter put out for me. Not sure how long it will be live but here it is.
The whole time I was trying to remember not to talk to fast, which is something I tend to do when I’m nervous. That and break out into hives. I’m still shaking as I prepare this post for my blog. I’m more comfortable behind the camera. Not in front of it. But as Brian Tracy would say, it was time to Eat That Frog and start putting myself out there more. Please tell me this gets easier each time you do it!
Now that you’ve watched my first broadcast, I would love to hear your feedback or suggestions for future broadcasts. I’m hoping to do this on a regular basis. I’ll be starting with a few broadcasts this coming weekend from the studio I’m sharing with other artists during the Hwy 62 Open Studio Art Tours. So be sure to follow me on Twitter/Periscope and tune in this weekend. Are you on Periscope?
Here’s a picture of the art piece I was framing in the video:
