Spring is in full bloom and so is the need for updated family portraits.
Mom has been saving up for an Image Block Collection ever since she first saw the sample I purchased shortly after WPPI 2012. And the Plaza Grande is perfect for this family of 6. There’s a large block to showcase the family portrait and then there are four additional blocks, perfect for a portrait of each one of the kids.
I’ve changed diapers. Been to countless birthday parties. Been to school performances. And have captured many smiles over the years (as their designated family photographer). To say that I know the Tilley Family well is an understatement. And that made this family portrait session all the more fun to capture.
We gathered at Covington Park in Morongo Valley earlier this month to have some fun and create some new portraits for this family. I think I lost their attention before the session even got started though the moment they saw the playground equipment. But Mom managed to wrangle the family in and we soon got to work. But its not really work cause I love what I do…capturing these special moments for families.
And before the kids knew it, we were all done and it was off to the playground for some fun. I managed to capture a few fun pictures while the family was enjoying this late afternoon spring day at the park. Here are just a few of my favorites.
There’s still plenty of time to update your Family Portraits before the heat of the desert takes over and no one ventures outside until after sunset. And even then I would venture out for some epic night time Family Portraits. And with Mother’s Day and Father’s Day just around the corner…I’m just sayin’.
