A fellow photographer, Laura at dolce pics, loves to challenge the creative side of her readers by offering up one of her photographs for readers to play with and edit. This morning when I saw the leaf, at first I was jealous because I really don’t get to see much fall foliage here in the desert. And then a light bulb flickered on in my head on what to do with this photo.

And to say I took some creative liberties is an understatement. First I used Photoshop Elements to select just the leaf. Then I created a new document and dragged the leaf selection into this new document. I added a gradient background layer and then adding the wording. This would make for a perfect postcard to send out to clients. What do you think?
